Salanieta Tamanikaiwaimaro aka Sala is an Attorney at Law and resides in Fiji. She is the Manager of the Japan Pacific ICT Centre, Director of Pasifika Nexus, President of the South Pacific Computer Society and a member of the CROP Working Group on ICT which is currently reviewing the FAIDP (Pacific Regional Digital Strategy). She is also a member of the Advisory Council for the BrightPath Foundation an International Non Profit. She has served in former capacity as an At Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) member within ICANN and as immediate past co-coordinator for the Civil Society Internet Governance Caucus (IGC). She has an avid interest in internet governance and is passionate about the use of ICT to leverage development through the creation of an enabling environment. She is passionate about capacity development in the Pacific with a view to bringing their unique voices to the global conversation.
