Principal Technical Consulting Engineer, Undersea Cable Operations and Maintenance, AT&T
Mr. Moskowitz worked for AT&T for 31+ years. He started at Western Electric writing software for control of AT&T-designed automated test equipment for testing integrated circuits of which some were destined for regenerative repeaters. After 5 years, he moved to Bell Labs and worked in system testing for 10 years, testing most systems in the 1980s and 1990s.
When AT&T-SSI was sold to Tyco, Mr. Moskowitz was made responsible for all technical issues for current and new systems in which AT&T had ownership. He later moved to Undersea Cable Operations and Maintenance after 8 years and has continued responsibility for all technical issues for AT&T cables, both consortium and privately-owned.
