Frank Rey is currently working with Microsoft since July 2013, and is responsible for network infrastructure acquisitions globally supporting Microsoft’s mobile first, cloud first build-out. Prior to joining Microsoft in July 2013, Frank spent 2 years as VP of Capacity Management at Hibernia Networks, managing network planning, sourcing and implementation of Hibernia’s global infrastructure for its wholesale, financial and media business units.
From 1999 to 2011 Frank lived and worked in Frankfurt, Germany and was a contributing founder of Tiscali International Network (Tinet, AS3257); running Delivery & Procurement for the 5th largest wholesale IP Transit backbone worldwide at the time of its sale to Neutral Tandem in 2010 (now part of GTT).
