Dr. Elizabeth Fife has published and carried out applied and academic research of international telecommunications markets, mobile user behavior, and ICT4D over the past 20 years. Teaching areas include technical communications, market research methods, economics of the entertainment industry and evolution of telecom/entertainment/digital markets. She also directs the Global Mobile Survey (GMS) study, an annual international survey project of mobile consumers in Asia, Europe and North America.
Elizabeth is the Co-chair of the PTC Research Committee and Chair of the PTC Special Interest Group on Development. She is the editor of the PTC's Annual Report on Broadband, a series of comprehensive studies on the development of telecom markets in Southeast Asia, including Fiji, Myanmar and Indonesia.
