Director, GI Partners
Tony is a Director of GI Partners and is responsible for the oversight, operations and management of direct investments in real estate, including various data centers acquired through the firm’s technology-advantaged real estate mandates. He oversees a portfolio of assets located in the Los Angeles (including the One Wilshire building), San Francisco, San Diego, Dallas, Kansas City, New York, Boston and Washington D.C. metropolitan areas totaling over 4 million square feet.
Prior to joining GI Partners, Mr. Lin was with MacFarlane Partners in San Francisco, where he managed a $3 billion portfolio of real estate assets in Washington D.C. Prior to that, he was at AMB Property Corporation in San Francisco, where he managed the company's Bay Area portfolio and started AMB's Value Added Conversion platform. Early in his career, Mr. Lin worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York. Tony holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA and an AB from Dartmouth College.
