Mr. Colvin is the Director of Humanitarian Assistance & Human Security Programs for the Pacific Disaster Center (PDC), an international leader in the application of science and information technologies supporting preparedness, mitigation and response to natural and human-induced disasters.
Mr. Colvin has thirty years experience in developing and applying geospatial information technologies addressing existing and emerging human security, environmental and disaster management challenges. His senior level expertise in program and organizational management, strategic planning, technology integration/transfer has been applied to initiatives within the military and civil sector. During his career he has established a track record of moving technology from development to operational use in global, national, and regional settings.
