Commander Salevski, a native of Greenfield, Wisconsin, graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Following graduation, he was commissioned as a Submarine Officer where he earned his qualification in Submarine Warfare and as an Engineer. Later on, he transferred to the Navy’s Information Professional Community earning his qualification in Information Dominance and Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School.
He has served many tours on submarines, ships, telecommunication stations and now at the United States Pacific Command in which he is in charge of the Multinational C4 Interoperability Branch where he is working on multinational and coalition networks, communication interoperability between civilians and military forces from over 20 different nations in disaster relief scenarios, and other cyber efforts.
He has served 18 years as a Naval Officer. He is married to his wife, Allie, and has a beautiful daughter, Caitlin Mei.
